I would strive to be as honest as possible so that whatever I do, and think so all are absorbed into my subconscious mind. Spewing rubbish will mess up the subconscious mind. Having a clear subconscious mind helps in trading decision.
 
I think being allowed to say whatever you want keeps things interesting. Just about everyone in here keeps it modest, and the few that step out of line just make themselves look bad and everyone knows it.

If you are sensitive skin or get offended easily then the internet is not a good place for you. It can damage your self esteem and make you have unrealistic views about your self worth, ultimately making you lose sleep money and friends. And in extreme cases making you switch sexual orientations or even genders because "this is who I am man"
 
I live by the motto to keep it real. Most I find don't. Which is especially important when it comes to trading.

Yes. But I'm 6'6", 295 pounds and around 11 percent body fat. ;)

Actually, no, if I say things that come across as aggressive it just scares people in a face to face (men, women don't care so much as always smaller and I'm a gentleman).

The stockmarket is a great place where the most arrogant people, who know less, get their heads handed to them on a platter. It amazes me that newbies come out of nowhere to lecture other traders and fellow newbies what they should be doing? And how following the trend is an idiotic advice. Yet, most successful hedge funds do just that and make billions in the stockmarket? The blind leading the blind. And they wonder why they lose their monies? The smart traders will give you nuggets if you open your mind and just listen. Do not believe everything. Backtest it in the stockmarket then, you can separate what is real from what is fake disinformation. Then, knowing who is posting disinformation and BS only, you would be wise block those guys entirely.

I most certainly would. I grew up in the streets of 1990s - early 00s Uptown New Orleans in the area of the Calliope Projects around killers. Guys who'd racked up double-digit body counts – a lot of whom I still associate with today. I participated in all manners of street activities and survived it all, so there's almost nothing that scares me.

Courage is a great attribute, but,
i'm not so sure that it's about being scared.

It's more likely about avoiding the disturbance of fundamental principles & manners of behavior, upon which the modern society is build on.

Everything starts with a thought, then the word follows, then action is taken, which leads to a habit that forms the character and it dictates ones destiny.
