Do you pay local taxes?

By "local" are you referring to state taxes? If so, then of course I pay state taxes. Your entire gross personal income, including capital gains, is taxed by the sate.
 
Everybody pays "School Taxes", if you file State/Local return genius. Just because you never graduated from High School certainly does not exempt you from paying!

if you are unemployed and all of your income come from trading-you are exempt from school taxes. dont remember form number, but can find out later. those are part of property taxes(which also local) :) and you are talking about state.

There are three separate property taxes assessed in Pennsylvania. These are the School tax, the County tax and the Municipal tax. Of these, the county and municipal taxes are due simultaneously (they are on the same bill) with the school tax billed separately.
