This is an L2/depth/order book screen represented by a bar graph, and shaded by age. You can also customize aggregation. The program is called Spark.

Unfortunately this program isn't for US equities, does anyone know of a software with this same feature? Thanks.

Trade Station has something kinda like that. It streams the L2 in a chart - you can set it up to filter as you like.

What is the benefit for you of the graphic?

It'd be about a thousand words that are similar to any other picture of a price ladder and cued orders. (Not be be a smart-ass or anything... but it *is* a picture.)
