I don't want to agree or disagree here but just point out that volume displayed below a time based chart has a different meaning than volume displayed below a tick based chart. Higher volume on a tick based chart indicates a higher trade size. And volume plotted on a volume based chart would be constant and have very little meaning. Perhaps this is what the poster meant?
