Do You have other talents Besides trading?

Quote from optioncoach:

The best two hobbies to sharpen the trading mind:

POKER

CHESS

I play both regularly.

Phil

I'd say checkers/chess. It's amazing, many apparently fail to see the connection. Sometimes when I'm in a checkers game, I'm thinking how similar it is to trading. It's all about strategy, a plan, cutting losses, knowing what to do, when to do it, etc.

BSAM. How is that unlike chasing women? Checkers? Check her!

To all others. I still find that good champagne dulls the mind sufficiently to realize how simple trading can be. As opposed to the seriosos like Jack who want it to be hard. The trading, that is.

Interesting. I like to play super fast "blitz" chess before trading. Nothing like a good blitz game to loosen up the neurons and get the motor nerves warmed up.
