Only because the public is too fucking stupid to understand how things work. There is NO loophole. What you continue to bring up is two private citizens meeting at a gun show and engaging in a transaction over a gun. This can happen anywhere else. The only reason you people tie it to gun shows is because people who want to buy a gun go there, so people who want to sell it also go there.
