Do you all Believe the woman who is accusing Va. Lt. Governor?

Yup, as I said yesterday, I dont think VA legislature should be holding hearings until the accuser has filed a complaint, it is up to the prosecutor to decide if charges are filed. Among other reasons for doing this, is because it is only the state where the crime occurred that can do an original investigation - which the State of Virginia can review as part of its proceedings, if anything comes of it. But there has been no allegation of a crime in VA.
The rapes allegedly occurred in North Carolina. My understanding is that the statute of limitations prohibits a prosecution there but there are still six months left in Massachusetts. No way should VA be reviewing evidence or trying to come up with some on its own without requiring her to file a complaint. Not surprisingly Mass is probably not eager or capable to do much with a case that old, but, hey, she had 15 years.
Not to forget that the statute of limitations is supposed to protect the accused too. Otherwise you get flaky accusations, decades down the road when neither the accused nor the accusers nor the witnesses can remember shiite. COULD HAPPEN, EH?
I have been watching the local news and media conversations... It's starting to look like Meredith Watson, the second "victim", is not being truthful.
First she claimed that she told her friends years ago about being raped by Justin Fairfax and Corey Maggette at Duke. However the Facebook and text messages should that the assertions are only recent -- not made years ago.
Second, Duke University has been trying to find the Administrator/Dean she claimed to report the rape to. No evidence that she reported either rape has been found; nor has any Administrator/Dean who she supposedly reported the rape to been identified.
Appears the entire thing is starting to fall apart.
