Do Trendlines work?

Quote from easyrider:

The market may not jump around but your mind does. The way you mix metaphors is fascinating to me because I know its not premeditated. You shoulda been a poet.

Suffice it to say, Jack is by far, the master of metaphor, synonymity and discourse.

Jack nice to see you back and thanks for the posts.

The attached is unfortunately scant given xyzABC definitions. However, I have at least the following 4 weeks of unimpeded free time to make the most out of this effort. Grob109, please feel free to continue at any time, I check ET probably every other hour even tho it appears I haven't been around. I am remaining "focused", my fifth strength, and I'm sure I and a few others, take these type of efforts very seriously. I haven't traded for 5 weeks but presume that that is beneficial. In any event, I have reread segments of "knowing how to know" several times and see that you have provided "information" for constructing a process. Whether it is additional "information" that is needed or "knowledge" still remains a personal mental mystery that I have been pondering as of late... I recognize that this may be a background effort for you and thus will require additional patience.

Nonetheless, thanks and kindest regards....

In an earlier post on this thread you said:

[Then as money is made by trading the long diagonal of the parallelogram, at the end of the long diagonal the next trend begins. You have all the points required to draw the next trend channel by the time the price leaves the prior channel.]

Im still having problems with this simple thing so you can see how far behind I am. I see where you have point one at the end of the long diagonal but how do you have the other two points before the price leaves the channel? Could you please post an illustration. I usually cannot find 2 and 3 until after price has left the channel.

Lower highs?

Thanks duard. I know how to do those. The ones I am talking about are when after the last high it drops out of the channel without any bounce inside the channel. These happen quite often.
