do tradestation brokers make commission?

i just recently opened a tradestation account for there graphs and quotes. i made a few trades today and i noticed a salesmans code at the top of the statement. tradestation was the most aggressive broker i've ever seen as they called for weeks on end for me to open and account and he kep telling me to make sure i had his name on the app. i ahve no doubt they make an override
 
Base Salary + Bonus.

Why shouldn't they make commission, if they earn it, I guess you never worked on Wall Street.
 
well i've been dealing with discounters fro years and i've never seen a salesmans code on top of the statement. what type money does a tradestaion broker make. there futures commissions lower than ib so i doubt they make much
