Anyone voting Democrat is a retard that needs to be institutionalized.
So in our local and state elections where the Republican candidate wants to ban the sale of alcohol, close down the university system, ban the teaching of evolution, shut down public K-12 schools, require women not to work outside the home, and a host of other extreme positions -- you believe I should vote for this idiot? I think not, I will be voting for the pro-business, moderate Democrat. As will over 80% of the people locally.
Defining anything political in absolutes ("anyone voting Democrat is a retard") is unwise.

We often have to make compromises. To insist on remaining ideologically pure may not serve our best interests. For example, I am a Bernie supporter, because I like the way he is trying to move the country back toward the center, center-left, if you prefer, and away from what I see as dangerous nationalism of the extreme right. Enough is enough. We already have more children living in poverty and more incarceration than any other developed country. Eisenhower wouldn't believe it if he could see what has happened to the country he knew and loved. But if I were living in a swing State, despite how I can't stand Hillary, I would be crazy not to vote for her, because any other vote would then be a vote for Trump. (I'm not living in a swing State, so I am effectively disenfranchised by the electoral college in the vote for President. I'll still be voting because of down ballot issues, however.)

I only surfed swamis a few times and never caught it when it was good. Back then I lived in PB. I surfed PB or the Cliffs all winter. In the summer time... if I made north of Jolla, I surfed cardiff reef or table tops mostly.
