So yeah, a tax on land (rent) and the elimination of a good many other taxes would probably be beneficial especially taxes on profits.

In theory by allowing reinvestment of the saved money. In practice not really; I find that investor sentiment is a much stronger driver.

I'd support tax cuts on publicly traded companies (some private exceptions) if it wasn't just handed out as dividends.
