Do people speak like this even in West End of Glasgow?

I thought the West End is the best area so people speak regular English rather than with a strong Glasgow/Scottish accent.
I can understand what is said, but find it difficult and weird.

It first sounded like russian english, then i realised that is actually a native accent.

It's is a little bit disappointing and sometimes funny. To my mind, an accent is ok in any language. The other issue is that it can be strong and hard to understand.
