You idiot, David Marsh said it, Krugman was just agreeing with him. Wow you are dumb.

Typical liberal convenient interpretation. If "Joe" says "Liberals are brain dead" and "Frank" says "Joe finally said it - I agree: Liberals are brain dead." Then it is the same as Frank saying it too.
Krugman on the Internet in 1998
âThe growth of the Internet will slow drastically, as the flaw in âMetcalfeâs lawââwhich states that the number of potential connections in a network is proportional to the square of the number of participantsâbecomes apparent: most people have nothing to say to each other! By 2005 or so, it will become clear that the Internetâs impact on the economy has been no greater than the fax machineâs.â
Krugman on the Information Economy in 1998
âAs the rate of technological change in computing slows, the number of jobs for IT specialists will decelerate, then actually turn down; ten years from now, the phrase information economy will sound silly.â

Usually when something is said, it's attributed to its originator.
Instead of focusing on the fact that Krugman didn't actually say the comment first, you should be focusing on defending him from actually agreeing with it, which is what the OP is going after - the fact that the statement is a joke and testament to what Krugman has become. But the liberal tactic is, of course, to deflect and obfuscate.
Maybe you can impress us with some brilliant examples proving my statement wrong.
I won't hold my breath.
How about when the moron said the government needs to keep spending more and more to improve the economy. Idiotic. Can't print $$$$ forever. But Krugman and Odumbo would love just that. Never mind the debt continues to skyrocket.
Or when he said we have to spend more to get rid of the deficit.
