until youre irrelavant in <5 years and cant find a decent job

until youre irrelavant in <5 years and cant find a decent job
PhD in
You don't need a PhD to get a job in systematic trading (please don't call it algorithmic unless you want to be developing execution algos). Asking for a PhD is mostly a way to filter out dumb people (especially for recruiters who can't tell if candidate has the skills or the brains).
Like cleaning toilets maybe? Or humping drywall?
I was not trying to insult you, but it certainly sounds like you are envious of the people in the institutional quant finance. Certainly, now you are going to argue loudly that you are nothuh? You sound mental. If you're going to insult me at least do it like a grown up and provide a little context so i know what you're even talking about.

Yeah exactly. Take you for example, what's it like hitting rock bottom in life? Also, Ive never heard the term "humping drywall", is that some type of slang you use in the industry or just one of youre freaky sexual fantasies?
