Do full-time forex traders exist or is it just make believe?

I started hearing a grinding sound in my right front wheel, and decided to put the truck in the shop

the shop was very dark

they asked me to set the brake

but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't set the brake

next thing I know, the cops are there the meds are there the media is there and the truck and the whole load is totaled

Yes, but if you want to be a private financial adviser rather than getting stuck in one of the banks selling mutual funds, it adds a lot of credibility to your profile.

At this stage, I just enjoy the reading and learning. Its primarily a mental excercise for me.

And no, I don't enjoy delivering alcohol. It is purely a means to a greater end.
I think you enjoy delivering alcohol a lot more than you know. It's a rhythm and a pace. There's two types of people in life, salesman, and traders. (there's a third type that are just employees, but they are inconsequential)

If you want to be a private financial advisor, find someome to hold your series 7 and apply for an RIA.

I knew a girl who eventually became a lady who was an RIA. From day one all she charged was 1%.

In the begnining her min account was 5k, so that is just $50 per year per client.

But she was very good with people, and very personable.

It didn't take her long to have 1mm aum, and that quickly became 10mm

all her clients were women who no longer had a man in their life, because he died, or they just divorced him.

I only trade one other forex account, for a nephew that doesn't have the sense he was born with. He never saw a dollar that he thought shouldn't be spent. I told him I would do it if he let me put 50% of the profits in a longeterm investing account.

We only talk once a year, he couldn't understand why he didn't get a tax refund in 2012.

That's kind of funny. I got a job delivering alcohol. Works really well in Ontario since alcohol is only available in government controlled stores and not at corner stores. Schedule is perfect for me and my wife. Allows me to help her with the baby during the day when she's working and allows me to do the study I need for this CFA exam. However, that study session is really broken. I don't feel very prepared for this June exam. Its actually a really good job as these jobs go. I am up to about 140 deliveries a week in 40 hours and averaging 8$ per delivery. I will likely continue this schedule while my wife completes her Master's degree since it allow me to be with my baby during the day. Yes, it is tax free sortof, but .... I'm going to have a tough time explaining to them how I support my family if I don't declare it.

Where are you in Ontario? I spend some time in Ottawa--- decent place in the summers.

You don't need a 7 to be an RIA. It's a 65.

I can't sell if my life depended on it. Thanks, but i'll stick with the path I'm currently on. I really do enjoy the trading, but I need to be prepared with a fall back plan.

same here, once during a bad part of my life, I applied for a job as a cemetary lot salesman. And I mean I walked in there and put the bullshit on full load. They loved me. Then I had to take a test. And once I sat down at that desk with the test I went into trader mode. They asked questions like, "How important is money to you?" And I just forgot all about the job and answered all the questions honestly.

and these boys were pretty good guys, and they looked at the test results and said, "In the whole time I have been doing this job, nobody has scored so low on this test. It's like you got every single question wrong."
