And if they did the first thing someone would say if they were profitable is that they were photoshopped. Next thing they need some kinda notary or accountant. The whole discussion would evolve into whether this notary or accountant is really real ... we can go on like this forever. This whole thing here is turning into a discussion for kids in the kintergarten ...

Surf, you know you can make money if acting as a market maker. In fact I saw you state that's it's one of the only real edges you know. When I stated that I was making a nice consistant income with that like 8 years ago on ET people where all over me saying that is it was impossible and that it couldn't be done, that I was lying etc ..... Even some former friends of me from Amsterdam (option or futures market makers) hardly believed I could possibly do that off-floor. Well I quicklly stopped arguing with people as that led me nowhere. A few of my best friends (most of them I only told the story years after it happened) knew how it really was however and saw the proof I was actually making that nice income ... In the end I couldn't care less what most people on the net and living in my city thought of me ...
Oh, and in fact I lied: my income wasn't 100% from options during that time ... I wrote a few articles about investing around that time ... for which I got paid off course ... each article was worth like half a day trading income like every two months (yup, I got paid well).
Antoher nice detail: once my brother came to visit me and he had been an university assistant (economics) and he had written his thesis about options. I tried to explain him what I was doing, he didn't understand a thing about it ... up till know he hardly believes me that I made that much at that time when I tell him ... (he is totally anti-trading and investing in the stockmarket ...).

same here, I got paid a couple of times when I went "off course". One was just simple matter of mistakenly hitting the "buy" button instead of the "sell" button. I tried writing about it, but they said, "I wasn't grammarical enough."Quote from cvds16:

That's why in the forex world, we use sites like myfxbook. They are awesome, for making things public or even analyzing your own performance. Today I logged in to see what my st dev was and my expectancy because I had a small loss on Friday.
It's a shame that it is not available for Ninja. I also have a futures account I'm about to start trading and I'd love to be able to show those results too. I just don't know who to talk to:Ninja or Myfxbook. I think I've only seen 1 photocopied account statement EVER posted on the internet.
