Do foreign futures qualify for 1256 tax treatment?

Was contemplating trying my hand at trading the Nikkei, but was curious if it qualified for 60/40 tax treatment. Anyone know? I'd also be interested in a few of the big European contracts like the DAX and the ESTX50.

P.S. - if it isn't obvious, I'm in the US.
