Do FCMs want more funds or less?
The beginning of this interesting article:

seems to state that FCMs are divesting themselves of any customer excess cash, for reasons that are not clear to me.
But near the end of the article Advantage Futures seems to be saying that large cash balances are good because FCMs earn interest, something I always thought to be the case.
I admittedly may not understand the nuances of this article; so help me out.
