Do Democrats Want to be led by a Woman?

Quote from MajorUrsa:

So? No, they don't. What's your point?

No, he used the term Girly-men, and I think he wasn't referring to dems. But for simpleminds like you it was a good laugh, I'm sure.

Anyway, Arnold is just as opposed to Bush as I am. He's an intelligent and considerate republican. Too bad he cannot run for prez.

Blah blah blah.

Arnold used the term "Girly-Men" for Kerry and Edwards during the
last election because they both had too much hair and spent
upwards of 30-min before the debates combing it! Girly-Men!...

You should use your simple mind to get your facts straight. Arnold
is not against Bush. You are hallucinating again. And even if he was,
it would be because he is a waffler, much like Kerry is.

Arnold would make a terrible President...

Oh, and nice try trying to get me banned btw... ha ha... you lose.

Glad to see you took me of ignore. There is still hope for you.

It's good of you to cite a waffler to make your point, but I still don't get it.

You say: "It seems Democrats don't mind to be led by a woman". I say, no they don't, so what? What's your point? Is that such a difficult question?

The ban? Wasn't me. Must have been one of your other admirers. I wouldn't want you banned. On principle foremost, but also because, as I said, your tone and attitude makes a good case for us, your opponents. I'm certain that your attitude in the 9/11 threads got a lot of people thinking who were following government spells before. They must be thinking "hey, if an idiot like 22 is so strongly against these alternatives, there must be something true about them."Good thinking.

That is not true. 'Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger mocked his opponents in the California Legislature on Saturday as "girlie-men"...'

Get your darned facts straight before you open your trap.

Since I took you off ignore, maybe there is no help for me at all...:p

I think the waffler thing was that if Arnold is against Bush then he
must be a waffler like Senator Kerry is. From what I remember,
Arnold was for Bush at first.

So what is my point about the idea that the Democrats wouldn't
mind being led by a woman President (Hillary)? The point is, will
she be a good President? Does she have what it takes to be a President?
Do the Democrats even care? Or do they just want a Democrat in the
White House no matter who it is? (Take Obama for instance. To me,
he doesn't have enough experience as a politician to be President).

Baron PM'd me with some lines that were written by me to you
telling me to "tone down my language". I guess he picked them
out of thin air... Like I am the only one who has used swear words
at ET...

And why you think I am an "opponent" of yours when it comes to
the 9/11 thread I will never know. Just because someone has an
opinion doesn't mean they have to be an "opponent". You make
it sound like that thread is a war zone...:p

It isn't. All it is, is a whole lot of opinions... And thread links to others
opinions.

Well... actually, if the 'opinions' you see expressed represent something which is the cause of suffering, heartache, violence, misunderstanding, hatred or other serious ills, then those who hold those opinions are in fact your opponents, or even your enemies. This is why I constantly hammer the worst of the worst here on ET. There are only a few guys who I make sure to engage at all times, but they are the ones whose twisted way of thinking or monstrous beliefs reflect the worst of human nature and exemplify the very things that hold us back and cause us our worst problems.

Your misogyny may be seen by some as an extremely maladaptive trait. In this sense, you might be seen as the enemy by those who value individual equality. Those who value other things will not be bothered about your take on women in politics or women in general.

All interesting questions, but what has that to do with the fact that Clinton is a woman?

It bemuses me that you think Barron would use the post to the guy that complained as an example. Anyway, I didn't ask for a ban; if I did I would just tell you, I wouldn't be ashamed. But, you serve your purpose here, as I explained.

I used the word opponent because that how you treat the ones who disagree with you. You ridicule them, ignore their them and in general, never address the arguments given.
I have no problem with different opinions, on the contrary. I have learned a lot here. But discuss the subject at hand, not the persons. You hardly, if ever, discuss the subject.
(A good example is Haroki in the 2nd 9/11 thread; he brings forward arguments and sources that really add to the discussion. Although he probably differs in his views from me, I would not consider him an opponent).

Ursa..

Ursa,

this poster can't even get his/her facts straights when (s)he starts an argument. For example, v77 claims that gov. ahnold called Kerry as girlie man, when in fact ahnold was calling the California Democratic Legislators that. I have posted an link earlier in that reference. v77 just argues for the sake of argument.

Good ol' traderNik. Aren't you the guy/girl? who kept asking me where I live?

Like it is any of your business and it would matter at all? Tell me
why you kept asking me where I live so we can see what your motive
was for asking. I bet you don't.

You using the word "misogyny" to describe me is like me saying
you are misogynous. You don't know me. But you judge me and
say I "hate" women? Because I don't believe they have the same
leadership qualities as men? You must be kidding. Or crazy.

Perhaps you are maladaptive to this thread? Perhaps it is you
that hates women since you brought up the word "misogyny".

Ursa..

Like you have never ridiculed me. Uh huh. IF you mean putting
Bitstream on ignore, it is because he has the most filthiest mouth on
ET if you read his posts. And he hates America and it's women. He
belongs on ignore. And so do you for calling me "simple-minded" in
one of the posts above. You are the one who goes around like
Bitstream ridiculing people. It is a terrible trait that non-Americans
have here at ET. And it has made ET a lot worse than it used to be.

P.S. I have never seen you discuss a subject. Perhaps you are
projecting yourself onto others and don't even know it. Or you
just like to pick on people?

No matter what, I can see it was a mistake taking you back off
ignore. Time to say good-bye permanently this time. I only give
people here one chance. You actually blew in your very first post.
Not that you cared at all. You just wanted revenge for being called
a F'in lesbian. Remember? I am sure you do.

(jeez, I wonder if Ursa is going to complain again to Baron because
she didn't get the last word)...:p

Quote from version77:

Hmmm... no, I don't hate women. I love women, actually. I love everything about them, even most of the things that seem to piss a lot of men off. But then I'm good-looking and women respond to me way differently than they do to most men. As I have said before, I have seen the toll taken on some men who see beautiful women all around them but know that they don't have what it takes (either lots of cash or very good looks/extreme confidence) to ever have one of those women. The frustration that this engenders expresses itself in a lot of different ways, and is a prime motivator for a lot of (single for sure, and some married) men, IMO.

I'm a little surprised that being described as a misogynist upsets you so much.

With regard to my wanting to know where in the U.S.A. you're from, what difference does it make why I want to know? I asked you and you wouldn't even tell me what quadrant. That gives me the information I was looking for when I asked you the question. I actually don't need you to answer the question specifically. I just wanted to see how you reacted to it.

Oh, and by the way, I think it's a total crock of shit that any particular woman couldn't make a great leader. That's the problem with stereotyping - it leads you into logical fallacies.
