Do Banks Grant 100:1+ Leverage for HNW Clients?

If you want leverage, why don't you just trade CAD futures via IB? During RTH you'll get 166:1 -- a great way to double/blow out your money in a single session if you pick the right/wrong day & direction. :D

Or $750 - $500 intraday margin on Euro-FX futures, etc., offered by any number of other brokers, for leverage of 200:1 - 300:1.

Thats not a bad idea. I'd have access to volume data to boot.

I'm just used to my spot charts. ho hum.

Doesn't the 25k margin requirement for pattern day traders carry over to currency futures?

yes. i have a program that analysis rate of price change and extrapolates volume in FX, based on the concept of faster price changes means higher volume and vice versa. this has been very useful to me in my reversion tactics.( but trust me, it does not work all the time, as i have recently discovered ! LOL ! )

i am not presently trading euro or dollar futures.

Damn....that sounds good though...will you trade it after your testing? You will become even more dangerous...

if you put together a team of traders, i would be the first to apply...

but i will not move to PA...(the closest I would get to PA is the Hamptons in Long Island :))
