djia: first +positive+ month of september in 7 years

Doubt it. Made a swing low at end of Aug and bounced about 1/2 of a tight range. Nothing technically significant.

just asking, but how did u derive that conclusion? the past few years the last Q generally ends positive. i wonder if it is starting earlier this year.

sep/oct usually do historically... seasonal thing. theres an almanac out there with good statistics.
