This is an example of a favorite method of the fringe elements of the right and the left: They make a statement that appears to attribute invidous comparisons of their target's opposition to a hated figure.

No one describing themselves as liberal would consider Hussein as morally superior to the US or would compare any US President to Hitler. (a socialist might, but who cares about them?)

This is a technique of the high profile conservatives like Rush Limbaugh. His distortions are then parroted by 1000s of obscure nobodies like AAA.
 
I'll tell the RIAA i wasn't burning Dixie Chick's songs on to CD's. I was burning my collection of Dixie Chicks CD's!
