Dividend question

Help please,

Don't tell me it's a dumb question!

I bought stock ''XXX'' The day before it went ex dividend
how soon can I sell it and still get the dividend?

1. I can sell it on the ex dividend day as long as I owned it
at the open ?

2. I have to keep it the whole ex dividend day and can sell it the next day?

3. I have to keep it 3 full trading days in my account to get the dividend?
