I think you made the right call not to take this. To many things against you. If one was looking for 1 point profit, then maybe. Once again, the old boring 2 points were there though.

What I am doing is basically the same method on a larger scale. Nice call on this trade by the way both of you.

There is just not enough to support the trade down for me. ES only has a couple points down to low of the day and it may bounce into a buy signal.

That is what I am doing too, VT.
I was trading every nice divergence that I saw on the 1m but got burned because I was trading against a larger trend against me.

The 5m moves further and I can still get in with almost the same type of stop loss size as the 1m, 3 to 4 NQ points.

As mentioned before, combining the 5m with larger timeframe confirmation seems to be the ticket.

This was suggested to me by a successful trader.

My only problem now is that my hyper personality and the rapid days of the 1m have me taking mediocre set ups that fail instead of waiting for the nice 5m set ups with larger timeframe confirmation. They do appear 1 to 2 times a day on average.
 
I hope we can all hang out here and help each other. There is a lot to learn from each other.

I'm a type "A" also. It is essential that we take the most favorable setups according to our ability. The 1 minute chart puts me in sort of "hyper" gear and sometimes clouds my ability to reason.

My broker loves it when I trade that chart.:p

Heard there was a brokerage opening called VisionBrokerage....wanted me to be in charge of sales. Turned em down.

Just to muddy things up here. Anybody stretch a fibo across the run down. 50% retracement is around 988. This is also the top of the channel at present. Look for a signal down here if it materializes.

Where have you seen me as much as mention "PulseScan"?

I don't appreciate the personal attack!
Im new to these boards and Im just trying to share and learn like the everybody Else.

I haven't disrespected or abused anybody nor have I sent out "PM's" trying to persuade people to buy anything.
So why am I being singled out?

Have I signed on to a "CULT" were only certain people are allowed to post anything?

Please advise.

The rule is simple: no commercial postings unless you're a sponsor.

It matters little that you haven't referred to Pulsescan today. You blatantly referred to Pulsescan again and again in more than 10 posts. That way, your posts will get deleted, since those are Baron's rules.
