So I'll have an interview with a Swedish manager.
That's a first for me interacting with that part of Europe.
I know very little of them apart from the jokes these Norwegian guys make on them:
Do you think it would be wise to bring it in the interview? History I mean.
I do read history for entertainment but apart from Great Britain, I haven't looked much into other dynasty lineages. UK is simple, since some 1500 years it's one king after another. A crude, brutal law of primogeniture which ensured history is easy to read
When I switched to France it was all hell getting loose. As many kids as many partitions of the country. Gave up pretty fast
And as of now Europe has 20+ partitions, each with it's innumerable divisions and fights and internals funk whats.
Still I wanna visit Sweden. Reckon a software job might get me some visiting of a few interesting countries apart from Netherlands which I already visited repeatedly
So do you think it's OKay to bring history into discussion when all I know about these Northern countries is:
- Sweden: they fought Russia at some point. (What were they thinking?!!)
- Denmark: they fought Prussia (Germany) at some point. (What were they thinking?!!)
- Norway: they fought Britain at some point. Turned pretty good for both of them.
How's my history class knowledge?
