If one achieved success through discretionary trading, he/she may prefer discretionary over quantitative even though he/she never used quantitative trading method at all. And vice versa.

This poll is just to see what most ET posters personally prefer and it does not try to determine which method is better.

I try to be both

( i.e. disc and quant )

but in really simple terms

lately ( esp the last two days )

I just throw the rule book out the window
and try to follow order flow and scent of the grizzly ol whale
