mini-update 11/10/2005:
closed the put-position on BBI
BBI Nov 5 puts (bbiwa) - 20 puts @ .95/each
profit of $100 before comm. after comm, probably enough to go to a non-fancy dinner.
not complaining. saw this position go to the toilets and back. at one point, b x a was .15 x .20
would like to hold on, but time is running out. maybe roll to december options, coz i think if the planned issuance of perpetual convertibles don't happen next week, BBI may file for BK. will see, but most likely will just move on and look for other opportunities...
got 2 other long-term positions, but i'll be "superstitious" as the positions are doing pretty good when i didn't post them on the forum. maybe it brings "bad luck"
so, i'll just be a lurker for now and will be watching some very interesting threads on the options forum. particularly the one started by multioption.
