Disappearing threads

Quote from AAAintheBeltway:

Yet another MrMarket thread disappeared today. It was very annoying to me as I had prepared a post and the thread was gone when I tried to post. I know the moderators are doing their best, but this is getting ridiculous. It's one thing to remove obvious spam or other violations, but this was a thread where the guy had posted his entire trading record and there were multiple pages of intelligent commentary on it. How is that a problem?

I suggest in the future that if a substantive thread is killed, the moderators post a brief explanation of what they did and why.
You have got to be kidding.

The guy has started about 25 threads about THE SAME THING in the span of ONE WEEK.

I have no problems with the garbage that spews from the maggots mouth, but let him keep his crap to ONE thread WHEN IT PERTAINS TO THE SAME SUBJECT MATTER - KEEP IT IN A JOURNAL.

so. how is he profiting?

I don't know that you need to link profiting to advertising to violate the TOS here. I think advertising is banned, not profiting from the advertisement.

In his mind, gaining more people to "follow him" on the Yahoo board is profit, since that seems to be the way he measures his success.
