DirecTV to Drop One America News in Blow to Conservative Channel

I get by with an antenna and internet. Got tired of spending money on hundreds of channels that I never watched for a few hours a month of news and sports.

There's more politics involved here than you guys know.
DISH wants DTV bad. It's the only way the two can survive.
Dish has 8M subs, DTV has about 14M.
DISH is on Biden's shit-list right now because even though the Administration has done a 180 compared to Trump's on their marriage, DISH is way behind in its 20% 5G coverage of rural America promised by the summer of (this year) 2022. Booty is not happy. They've attempted this merger before too.

There's a LOT to it. The infrastructure bill too with its 100% broadband access is not good for DISH, Direct TV, or the combination.
What you see here is, and admittedly I'm speculating, is a political move to appease the haters of outlets such as OANN or the likes to gain favor with the current Administration.
It's certainly not about cost. Those two channels are dirt cheap to offer.

I've followed DISH and Charlie Ergen forever. That man is no dummy. He'll do what it takes to win.

The day Charlie Ergen does his final deal with Dish and divests himself completely from his decades old baby all grown up... is the day Mr Ergen moves to Washington.... DC, not the state.

He has been banned, of course Magna who never seems to like dealing with right wing racists etc unless it's to protect them from questions about their male role models, has closed the NY_Hood is now thread.

He will be back today or tomorrow and his initial, have to be approved as a new member posts, will be approved even though its obviously him.
