Director David Lynch: Trump ‘Could Go Down as One of the Greatest Presidents in History’

we got a foreign troll moron, trying to tell us the leftists were not losing their minds during Reagan. The leftists were crazed that they were losing some of their base to Reagans populist ideas. They hated star wars. They hated peace through strength. they at first hated the way he was treating the USSR. They still hate his tax cuts that set off a 30 year economic boom...

you take away foul brained pre commie lying foreign trolls in social media and you have almost the exact same leftist campaign against Reagan that you see now with the Trump.

We all love Ronald Reagan. This is the most personally inflammatory. Now that Reagan has become one of the top 10 most popular presidents in history, the same people that belittled him are suddenly on the Reagan bandwagon. He is even invoked by the very same members of Congress who insulted him in their effort to create a wedge within the Republican Party. Remember the horrific insults hurled at Reagan, the attempt to portray him as a bumbling idiot, mimicking Soviet propaganda of the day portraying him as a war-mongering cowboy, shooting MX missiles out of his six-gun holsters? He was belittled and maligned and the left made it into a two-decade long cottage industry attempting to solidify the view through their teaching, forums and textbooks. There is nothing that Reagan stood for that the left can embrace, and their attempt to hijack his struggle and legacy for their own ends is, at best, disgusting.

Of course he could. However currently many see him as one of the worst who won the presidency against the will of the people and the majority of Americans have never approved of his job performance.
Majority of Americans approve of Trump's handling of the economy for the first time: CNBC survey
  • Trump’s economic approval rating surged 6 points to 51 percent, according to the latest CNBC All-America Economic Survey.
  • Fifty-four percent say the economy is good or excellent, the highest recorded by CNBC in the 10 years of the survey.
  • The recent headlines on immigration have not hurt his ratings, according to the survey.

All-America Survey: 51% approve of Trump's handling of the economy 8 Hours Ago | 03:19

For the first time since President Donald Trump took office, the CNBC All-America Economic Survey shows more than half the public approving his handling of the economy, and it appears to be having some impact on his overall job approval rating.

The president’s economic approval rating surged 6 points to 51 percent with just 36 percent of the public disapproving, a 6 point drop from the March Survey.

His overall approving rating rose 2 points to 41 percent from the first quarter survey, but the percentage of Americans who disapprove dropped 10 points to 47 percent, the lowest recorded by CNBC during his presidency. Trump’s approval rating remains negative, at minus 6, but it’s also the lowest negative rating recorded since he took office

I am still having trouble with gall of some foreign troll telling us the left did not hate Reagan..
I can remember professors and democrat politicians calling reagan an idiot and saying the same things about people voting for him. Just like they do today.

How do you think lefties like this... back then...

Reagan was genuinely popular across the globe though his administration was highly corrupt and charges, convictions prove that. He threw Admiral Poindexter right under the bus by dishonorably claiming he did not give authority in 1985 etc etc. "I don't remember, period" etc.

That backstab looks so quaint now in comparison to Trump's absolute absence of honor.

Trumpy's supporters are slathering cultists more than ever before. There will be a period of people just getting exhausted, who can keep up with the scandals. This gaslighting was well predicted when he was a candidate should he get in so he will gain a bit.
