If SNL does a skit on this they won't have to re-write a thing. The whole premise of this comic routine is that the Clintons are untouchable.
So the Clinton character is standing there in the court of public opinion. The FBI character runs down the list of offenses line by line. The rest of the characters are looking like, she has no chance on this one, she's guilty as hell. The punch line is, but we've decided that all of this evidence is irrelevant so we don't recommend an indictment. The audience roars with laughter and the camera pans to a Bill Clinton character who gives a knowing wink and a nod. The laughter is at a fever pitch. If this isn't enough, as order comes back the FBI character says, now if anyone else thinks they can pull this crap, we'll throw the book at them. We don't play! Laughter erupts again.
I expect to see something along these lines this Saturday night. It's just too good to pass up.
