Direct Access Trading

I trade equities, but have been looking into futures trading to grow my business. I tried FXCM;s demo but was,nt totally pleased. Does anyoune know of a futures broker where I can trade from home or my office that offers electronic direct access trading (dont want to place my order with some market maker who then has to execute it). Thanks.
 
I'm in the exact same boat. I've traded equities for years and looking for a DAT system for futures and forex. I would like to demo a system before using it if possible. Let us know what is out there. Thanks
 
Understand that Forex is NOT the same as futures on forex. Two very different animals.

Interactive Brokers offers a universal account whereby one can trade equities, futures, bonds, forex (am I missing anything?) all from a single account. They offer products from US, European, North American and Asian markets. To my knowledge no one else quite like them.

Disclaimer: I've been a happy client of theirs for going on 5 years.
