I have a mix and match assortment of different LCD monitors: different makes, different sizes, different shapes (3:4 versus 9:15). Here has been my experience:
Envision I like them the best. Best color. Crisp.
Samsung, ViewSonic they are solid
AMW less known brand. They are okay
Acer they are okay
I have problem with only 1 make/model:
LG Flatron W2234S 22-inch It has some faint scan lines showing on the monitor, fairly visible. Annoying. Like a TV that flickers.
It is not my video card. The problem stays with the monitor when hooked up to different computers.
Don't know what do to except to admit that LG is a lemon. I would advice not to buy LG LCD monitors.
