Different kinds of charts

Hi,

there r so many types of charts

1. tick charts
2. volume charts
3. constant volume charts
4. just regular candlestick or ohlc

what is a constant volume chart? i mean, the waves in prices r the same, so someone who doesnt study volume, would there be a difference in price action?

several people like tick charts as compared to time based, why? what is the difference?
