Did Some Early Voting

Quote from oldtime:

yes, straight ticket

now I'm getting blamed because everybody else won't also do that

both parties are increasingly losing voters to the libertarians, at some point they are going to have to stop and take notice

you can thank me later

Thanks OT. If for nothing else other than having the balls to admit that. Much respect

Quote from LEAPup:

Btw oldtimer, I see you were thankful for a comment by mr. Bill. Did you know our founding fathers who were TRUE Libertarians would have a guy like mrbill shot by firing squad for treason?

Let me help you a little bit. Read some history! Your ignorance is glaringly loud...:(

I'm not sure the guys you are talking about would shoot Mr bill for treason as much as for being a nigger lover. After all, isn't that why you hate him, us...maybe even yourself?

Quote from oldtime:

Did some early voting, maybe 40 min max on a Saturday morning.

I was surprised, they had a box to mark for a straight Libertarian ticket. I've never seen that before. Even standing in line I was still undecided. When I saw that Libertarian box that made up my mind right there.

Must admit, I walked out of there feeling pretty good about doing my civic duty.

I don't really cares who wins, but I didn't want to give up my right to bitch for 4 years.

Much respect for doing what most of us know is right but wont do

Quote from PHOENIX TRADING:

That's just laughable he actively supports redistribution of wealth, went to a church based on BLT which is a mismash of communism & anticapitalism, supports and hangs around terrorists and has an affinity for radical islam .
He's brought back instituionalized racism to the justice dept.

that's progress for you...

Third party candidates have been screwing up elections for Republicans for a while now. But the Republicans have only themselves to blame. As long as they keep pandering to that goddam evangelical base, the party will always be fractured. The irony of it all is that the Repubs don't need to pander to them, they have their vote wether they seek it or not.

My vote went to Mitt Romney, but the purpose of my vote is to remove Obama from office. There is no other way to remove Obama other than voting Romney. And since I'm in CA, a solidly Blue state, my vote won't count for shit anyway.

This is the problem the Republican Party has, not so much who they pander to. They never put anyone up that a large part of the block really want to vote for. Too many feel they have no choice but to vote against the other guy rather than vote for their guy. When they party figures that out, they'll see real progress in true support.
