Romney didn't really say anything too shocking. What he stated is simply a well known fact.
Did Romney say he was going to lose? I don't know. But I do suspect he knows it's a tough hill to climb. The media is now going full swing against him on every little thing.
Essentially, American politics at this point is not between competing ideologies but Obama's cult of personality.
You can have 20 million more people on food stamps, gas going up to 10 bucks, the official unemployment rate shooting to 15% and Obama will still have a good chance of winning. Have you seen a cult? Seen what happened at Waco? People are willing to die for their faith and their beliefs, much less paying a few more bucks for gas or not being able to get a job and at this point, it is definitely a faith.
Look at the youth. They have the highest unemployment rate of college graduates in decades upon decades but I bet my bottom dollar that when all is said and done, they will still vote for Obama. They will not and cannot do otherwise, there isn't anymore free will for them.
Debate with an Obama supporter on issues and you can get a vigorous discussion on issues but when you start talking about Obama, suddenly they go insane, its like an instant unearthly possession takes hold of them. They scream, they shout, they ask you to "respect" the president. This even occurs in seemingly educated and rational individuals.
If mankind lasts for another 500 years and I had to type in an entry for Obamaism in an encyclopedia, this is what I would write:
"A bizarre cult of the personality arising in the 3rd Millenium in the United States in which millions of people discarded all forms of rational thought and became mesmerized by the liquid delivery style of Senator and later President Barack Hussein Obama."
