Here is a link to another post I put up regarding delayed postings on the CBOE that I had placed through IB. Maybe you can shed some light on why an order can take 5 minutes or so to show up on the screen.
PS. Jim actually does it from more of a sense of right and wrong. I do it more from the "for fucks sake" perspective that causes me to jump all over dipsticks like Covel as well.
