How would this work on the floor? Do the specialists have Internet access or Blackberries or something that they use to communicate with the accomplice?
They wouldn't need to communicate during the trading day. The process of placing orders under selected circumstances, in order to evade the trade-thru rule, could be done either by another individual conspiring with the specialist but without communication during the trading day, or it could be done by a computer program.
