Did anybody by those QQQ 79 calls for only 1 cent today?

Did anybody buy those QQQ 79 calls for only 1 cent today thinking they are the weeklies that expire on October 4th? If so look again, you bought the quarterly options that expired today.

QQQ at 78.88 and the 79 calls are selling for 1 cent. I thought it was a bargain and was going to buy 50 contracts for a 5 day trade - but then I noticed that they expired today. :eek:

Just a reminder to anybody who mistook the quarterly QQQ 79 call options for the weeklie QQQ 79 call options on Monday Sept 30. They have expired worthless.

They are not worth 67x the penny you paid for them. :)

Just think about it for awhile, you should be able to see the forest through the trees. :)


HINT: Risk/reward ratio of buying cheap 1 strike OTM weekly QQQ option's. :cool:
