Most people are already wearing masks and it hasn't done a damn thing with stopping the virus.

I wonder why?

Maybe they don't really work for stopping the virus. But it might of helped Joey Biden's campaign of fear?

Forgot to mention the statistics of current Mask Use. I'll let the below chart explain it all to you so that you can visually see that there's a big problem and that we're not near where we should be involving face mask use.

Also, for what its worth...we've been between 59% - 60% since July. More concerning...while infections and hospitalizations are dramatically increasing again...face mask use has still remained about the same...59% - 60%...

That's very scary.

They already have it without any National Mandates (e.g. can not get on a commercial flight without a face mask on, can not go inside a grocery store/pharmacy without a face mask on, can not go to school without a face mask on, etc).

The difference with Biden is that he will not be playing it down, will be encouraging that wearing a face mask could save the lives of someone in your family / friends / coworker or someone you do not know but is one of those 1/3 of the population that has an underlying medical condition.

Making it a National Mandate will be clear to people what rules they broke when they are denied services at businesses, escorted out of the place of business or arrested for refusal to wear a face mask.

• Surely you've already seen people wearing face masks in government buildings or stores...right ?

You probably just have not seen anyone get arrested for not wearing a face mask or denied service nor have you seen a leader until now that will make wearing of a face mask a patriotic duty instead of using it as a divisive political tool...we now know the latter didn't work out so well for Trump (election lost) and a big factor in the deaths of +239k Americans.

That will be the difference under Biden...to save more lives in comparison to not wearing a face mask.

I'm not sure if he can be fired but I do know a President could not include him on any infectious disease task force.

I like the guy and he's now on board with the importance of wearing face mask and social distancing (no gatherings with people not part of your household) now that he has an accurate picture about Covid-19 although he didn't start the way when China initially stated it was not "airborne".

Plus, he quickly changed direction after initially stating that he didn't think face mask will be helpful after he learned more about the epidemiology of Covid-19.

Lets put it this way, when he made that commentary while China was saying the same thing...

Video out of China at the same time showed a contradiction via hospital personnel wearing face masks / face shields and in some situations....looked like they had on full bio hazard gear.

Anyone that knew a little about science knew something did not add up.
