DHS Officers Armed With Semiautomatics Set Up Unannounced ID Checkpoint

Quote from Crispy:

Demopublicans and republocrats should be proud.

They checked me at the airport but I said nothing...

They checked me at the bus station I said nothing...

They checked me walking down the street I said nothing...

They checked me at home and again I said nothing...

Now, just nothing..................

Well, that's it. Isn't it? This is where it's all going. I would wager in less than 2 years, we're going to see some serious sh*t. The legal framework is almost complete. What else can they add? FEMA internment camps were activated a few weeks ago. US Army job postings went up for "Civilian Internment Specialists". They might plan to blow out the economy early. Who knows.

My point was that I think such "Americans" should be executed, not stripped of citizenship.

But I actually think the bill's unnecessary because IMO it's covered in Article III Section 3 of the Constitution with:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

But the argument about ulterior motives or being wrongfully accused could apply to that part of the Constitution too. Do you think should we amend the Constitution to remove that part?
Quote from Crispy:

We already have laws against treason.

There is a more specific reason these latest laws have not so specific definitions.
Quote from DAS Trader:

Interesting perspective. What if someone is wrongfully accused?

Listen, Ricter, I like you. But you need to get off the pussy-train.

Just because some of the most Constitution-destroying legislation was passed under your boys watch, doesn't mean you gotta circle the wagons and defend him. We're all in this boat, together.
I'm not defending anyone when I say that the rating being given this thread (99% of them, really) is a rating of the poster, not the content of the thread. That's how P&R rolls.

Yup. Exactly. And material support is such an opened ended term. But back up for a second. The 5th and 6th Amendment guarantees every American a trial, regardless. The assumption that there's reasonable instances where the Government should "Revoke" citizenship in the first place, is lawless, and totally outside the Constitution. Ya, it sucks when we get a McVeigh, but that's the law. And that's the same law that protects the 10,000 innocent people for every one shit-bagger we get. It's insanity that people even think it's okay to let the Feds decide who gets to "keep" their citizenship. That would make all our Constitutional protections arbitrary on what the Feds decide. And guess what? That's EXACTLY what they're trying to do. Holy f*ck.

Anyone who would advocate for these laws is simply un American, a traitor to what we as a nation stand for. Either you believe in freedom and justice for all or you don't, there is no third direction.

I've seen several people here actually come out in favor of laws like this and it really turns my stomach. I guess they feel it will never touch them. You know what, I actually hope they are right but I rather doubt it.

It's either just like high school (like you suggest) or it's coordinated to give an overall impression based on a preconceived and agreed upon standard.

I agree. "Americans" who support terrorists or take action against the United States should be executed, not simply stripped of citizenship.

There is some coordination, certainly. It's typical to see pspr's threads appear seconds after creation, with 4 views and 4, five-star votes already. That was true of bugscoe (rest his soul) also.

But mostly it's just like high school. Who says you can never go back? :D

Some people are in denial and I truly believe that some are here to shill for these positions. I won't mention any names.

Yup. I've read the Pentagon has psychops or psychwarfare agents that post on the internet. I can't find the particular link now... Wouldn't be surprised if elite had a couple here.
