Practiced trading over mobile connection today. No problems. Already done my trading for the day. Had to fix a bug in the code on the fly.
15 minutes. One trade. One trade... I already made more money in the last week than I would in a month doing consulting.
This is terrifying. Usually, I see success in software because I plan it, I execute, and it works as expected. It's a lot of work. This is a whole new thing. I don't want to sabotage myself.
I think I'll just not look at the numbers for a few months.

Missed out on a 4 bagger today because even though I practiced with mobile connection yesterday, today the internet _really_ went out and my mobile connection couldn't keep up because I had overrun my data.
This is problematic. Hmm...
Options are:
1. Backup internet connection
2. Trading-only mobile data connection

Beware that a mobile data connection could also go down. And, in line with Murphy's law, it will go down at the worst possible time.

Preferably one would have two independent internet connections. However, that redundancy comes at a cost and thus would require an analysis to see it the account size (and profitability) justifies this.
Were you not able to quickly buy additional data bandwidth? My mobile phone operator allows me to buy extra data (e.g. 100 MB, 1 GB) once I've used my monthly quota.... connection couldn't keep up because I had overrun my data.

Good points, food for thought. Honestly I don't want to buy extra data because I don't want to enable their stupid business model. Bandwidth is not that expensive!!!

This is going well so far.
As I'm trading this system through Spartan, I am keeping a separate journal in the wiki software I mentioned earlier. I am noticing that things that I thought I had automated are actually partially discretionary, so every day after my day's trades are done, I continue to automate those discretionary things.
