If you reached this point and came to these conclusions you gave the ultimate proof that you are succesful. Succes is not measured in money but in quality of life.
Most don't understand this as they get stuck in the phase of trying to make money. Because of focusing on that problem they completely lose the real sense of life. Most people never pass the stage of trying to make money, so they don't understand you.
I understand you very well as I came to the same conclusions as you, many years ago.

Except... I don't like fishing. :)

Happiness is a state of mind and I believe you have to work at it and money certainly can't make an unhappy person happy
 
I've seen too many unhappy people become happier after getting pay raises (more money), winning a large financial prize (e.g. lottery)...more than I've seen those not happy after doing the same.

Don't misunderstand, I have seen people remain unhappy after having more money. Yet, overall, most do become happier when their financial situation improved because the additional money allowed them to remove some of the obstacles that made them unhappy.

On the flip side, I've seen people that were happy and then more money made them unhappy because it put additional obstacles in their life that cause unhappiness.

Simply, everybody is in a different situation.

Therefore, maybe happiness is a state of mind and it has nothing to do with money for some while it means the world for others ?

If I made 8G's in a day...I would buy a new high-end laptop for VR porn, and order two or three steaks from one of the finest steak houses in the city. and buy Gucci alligator ankle boots.
If I ever become rich from the market, I will buy an ultra high-end $10K or 15K or 20K espresso machine. o_O

Actually, i took a few more trades and ended up with more ..but it is getting embarrassing to post. How can I be an encouragement to people like vicente if all I am posting fairly big wins? I once wore the same boots as vicente. Most traders doubt if I post $700.00 wins for the day.
