I hope OP called IB to thank them for forcing him out of a very bad trade and saving him 5k. I am sure that is what was going on. IB, acting like the overlord, took matters in their own hands to save junior from going back to live with his parents.
Next time he might (definitley won't) be so lucky. With his insite into the dark underworld of trading maybe he can focus his considerable powers and give us some direction with the Kennedy Assassination.

Hope so but consider that it's up over 40% in the last 5 days. I still believe it will close the gap but it may pause and gyrate a bit.

- Casino Jack (Kevin Spacey) and Casino Jack documentary. That Jack Abramoff stuff was fascinating.
- Kill the Irishman. If you are into mob movies, this is a good one.
- Cocaine Cowboys I and II. If you are into Scarface, you'll learn about the real (female) Scarface.
- Fat, Sick, & Nearly Dead. Inspirational story about juicing.

It's always good idea to use limit order instead of market order.

IB is very terrible on many things.
About 10 years ago I placed a limit order that was about 50% lower than close price. The order was filled after market. I was very happy about the fill. But then they reversed it and said that was a quote error.

we're not talking market vs limit. 10,000 orders get filled every day without a problem and many of them are mine.
We're talking about a fluke limit order where the limit gets changed and there's nothing you can do about it. The audit trail shows your order at a different price than you entered.
It almost never happens, but the dumbshits on this site that claim it NEVER happens because it has never happened to them are about as credible as the people who believe Bigfoot doesn't exist because they have never seen him.
