it's nothing new actually
i am using the 2 point trendline to mark a level of resistance to determine breakouts from a certain trend caused by certain significant points

The problem with two point trendlines is that you don't know they're trendline points when they're on the right side of the chart.

Tell me about it.. There is a vast global network of development done on the MetaTrader4 (MT4) platform - indicators, advanced systems, you name it, and the majority is offered publicly. Many talented programmers specialize on only the MT4 platform. The issue is that MT4 code cannot be ported easily to other non-MT4 platforms, nor can MT4 be used with non-FX brokers. Thus, everything created for MT4 is limited to the FX space.
