(231.9-254) * 80,800 = -1,785,680. in 11 days time.

After he went long, because all indicators were screaming LONG, we made the lowest low since begin 2017. At that point he lost over $2 million since his 254 posting. LOL.

Bought shares 233.8 -> Sold 1600 250 calls to effect synthetic straddle with shares above 250.

30.6 was the credit on the synthetic straddle. Straddle was MTM at 19.8 when I completed the (synthetic) straddle. Straddle is currently marked to 17.99 mid.

That trade gained more than $800K. I made more in that spot -> straddle -> fly that I've made in my current 50K short.

I could not find "Trading Options for the Mentally Ungifted" so this one will do... maybe learn how options and synthetics work.
