There you go, my friends. M'salam.
I'm going to do a week of PnL. dest can vouch that I committed to it before I knew how today's PnL would go
Closed Friday short with fairly aggressive size (for me). Then felt a bit uneasy about the play all weekend. Glad I at least got a partial pay-out this morning although I was hoping for more. This will probably be the biggest day of the week unless I get any new ideas. Nothing close to expiry that could pin and I reduced my shorts this morning.

Wait until the week is up before making that call haha. If we keep rallying you will see some decent mark-down on my PnL.
I was really naive back in 2014. Probably the first 4 years of posts are junk. I wish I could've understood Blotto's advice at the time. He left the board before I could thank him after I think I started to get the perspective he was coming from.
Blotto definitely dropped some good knowledge! I actually came across that thread of yours when I was reading through all of his posts (including the ones from his second handle "ghost of blotto"). Good luck with the rest of the week, hopefully the bullish mania calms down (seems it has just a bit today).
Marks on a longer term strategy were a little unforgiving today. They'll come back eventually though. Probably close to flat on everything else. I was positioned great yesterday for the closing action today. Took size off though.
Still short delta but SPX IV really spiked on my put flies and marginalized the PnL there. AAPL short starting to earn but I haven't added much size yet. Mid-day was actually a lot worse, have some short CMG vol and it really started to run me over. Came back off by the close though.
If the selling continues in force I will need to restructure.
