Dest Jr's little trade journal.

I am bringing the account up to $50K for him to manage. Limiting the debit risk to $12,500.

So you went from 1/3 to 1/4 debit risk. When he gets to like $1MM, what will it be at that point?

lol I'd say $100K. Debit paid is not debit risk, so it's fluid. I would limit him to say +/- $10K in theta.

Gotcha. Thanks. Just wondering.

I'm always curious about the trading parameters that firms like "Destriero Family Holdings" gives their traders. Loss limits, account reductions, capital increase, bonuses, etc. Setting all that up is almost a trade in and of itself.

I am involved with three other principals in a FO in Dallas. We agreed from the outset to limit portfolio risk to 1% of theta on vol. We just got our ISDA as well. Almost all of my LNW is in my IRA and the we're equal partners even though my cap contribution was offered but not required.
