Desktop Shortcuts ??

Try not to have your IE window maximized. Shrink it down some so that you can see your "Elite" folder on your Desktop.

This ought to allow you to drag and drop your favorite into this folder without IE getting in your way.
 
Oh,ok..Yes, I always have my IE window maximized...I have blank as my homepage and everytime I open IE it is fully maximized....

Why aren't you using bookmarks to save the location of webpages you are interested in? Or is it that you are trying to save the text written on the webpages you are viewing?

When you say bookmarks, you mean saving a webpage I am interested in to my IE favorite list..right?

It just seems a hassle to go there and then find it when I can have the icon on my desktop and just click on it and presto, be at the web site...especially a site that I visit multiple times daily..such as Yahoo..certain blogs etc..

Does that make any sense to you?..or not? or am I missing what your asking?

Ok, I guess I asked because there is always a browser launched on my desktop, so if I want a site I just click favourites and go there. It's fine if you prefer to manage your web browsing in the way you describe.

By the way... are you still using that Internet Explorer thing? :):)

My favourite sites are listed right on the toolbar of my browser (You can't do that in IE) so when I want to go to one of them, I just have one click. Literally. I assume you'll have to click on your folder, then find the icon, then click on it.
