DeSantis: The Authoritarian

The only thing Newsom can destroy is California. How is California homelessness going? Crime in California? Poverty? High taxes and regulatory burden? How is California’s “Disease scene” going with outbreaks of hepatitis A in San Diego County, syphilis in Sonoma County and typhus in Los Angeles County? Monkeypox soon to be on the list? At least no polio from that other Democrat state, New York. How is it that neighboring states are enjoying higher rates of growth in spite of less favorable weather than California?

Does Newsom want to do for our country what he did for California? Or does the DNC feel Biden is doing a fine job on his own?

Funniest part was the very first 10 seconds of the clip: "Its clear DeSantis broke the law." Newsom says. "The question is which law did he break?"

LOL

So its clear he broke a law but you're not sure which law he broke. Hahaha....

I find it amusing that there are posters who live in Florida who don't know the difference between emergency funding (e.g. FEMA) and the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund which is FUNDED BY RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY INSURANCE COMPANIES with some funding by revenue bonds possibly in emergency situations.

Confusing the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund which is a backdrop funded by your insurance premiums via the insurer --- with State Emergency Storm spending is the height of idiocy. Two totally different things.

Let's read the top of the home page of the FHCF...

"The Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund (FHCF) is a tax exempt state trust fund that provides reimbursement to residential property insurers for a portion of their Florida catastrophic hurricane losses. It is intended to be self-supporting, with funding primarily from actuarially-determined premiums paid by residential property insurance companies, and, in some circumstances, revenue bonds backed by emergency assessments on a variety of property and casualty insurance premiums."

What I find amusing is that people who claim to have you on ignore actually act like they don't (Here4Cuddles is another one like this), and then try to refer to you anonymously through some third person manner. I mean, have the courage to engage openly if you're going to respond anyway.

As for your silly article from the usual rag suspects, DeSantis vetoed $1 billion for an Emergency Response Fund lawmakers set up to pay hurricane recovery grants more rapidly after a major storm instead of waiting for FEMA reimbursements because the relief funds couldn’t be stored away for future uses. Meaning its not that he didn't want them (like you suggested), but he wanted a more permanent fund.

The point was that Florida's FHCF is strong, and Florida has THE best emergency response funding, programs and organizations in the country. End of story.

All you're pushing is your usual DeSantis Derangement Syndrome.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is getting his own emergency fund—with limits

Yes, the old line comes to mind: “Show me the man and I’ll show you his crime”.

The Nazis never put anyone on a plane, nor did they ship anyone to the best parts of Germany, or any sanctuary in Germany for Jews. But if you insist, did you know the Blightdom admin has been, for several months, flying and bussing people all over the US, often in the middle of the night? I don't have the numbers but i'll guess they've trafficked, surreptitiously (without notifying governors), 100x what Abbot and DeSaint have relocated so far.

DeFascist should be delighted disaster relief is coming his way, money he can campaign on by sending bonuses & recruiting asshole cops across the country, money he can keep funneling & embezzling through campaign donor charter companies.
